About Jeana:
Jeana attended North Dakota State University, graduating in 2012 with a bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management. Her desire to help people transformed as she took a role working for county emergency management and then transitioned to serve for a year at a local homeless shelter.
Jeana began her counseling education at Minnesota State University in Moorhead in 2015. During this time, she took advantage of every opportunity to learn, develop, and practice counseling skills by working on various projects and providing services to children, adolescents, and adults. Jeana completed a Thesis, served as President of the MSUM chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, the counseling honor society, and Vice President of the Counseling Student Organization.
Jeana started an internship at Prairie St. John's Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota, and then accepted a full-time therapy role before graduation.
After she completed her degree, Jeana returned to MSUM as an adjunct instructor in the Counseling Program.
Jeana transitioned into the role of Director of Performance Improvement at Prairie St. John's in 2019 where she assumed the role of Quality, Compliance, and Regulatory.
In 2022, Jeana accepted the role of Director of Clinical Services at Prairie St. John's for both the inpatient and outpatient programs.
Jeana began seeing clients in a private practice setting in 2023 and continues to grow her practice by offering counseling sessions in the evenings and on the weekends.
Jeana is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Clinical Supervisor in North Dakota, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Iowa.
